Before and Afters
The below before and afters include cosmetic modifications

Before

After
This bathroom transformation consisted of demoing out the old and installing new mirrors, vanity, shower, toilet and light fixtures.
Wall tile was taken down and shiplap put back in its place. Flooring is just refreshed with tile paint and a stenciled design. Gorgeous Right?!

Before

After
Greys, whites, creams and navy blue continue the coastal / transitional look. Lining furniture along the walls would have been awkward and turning it directly to the fireplace would have left a ton of wasted space. This room is huge so I floated the furniture and then anchored it with the jute rug.

This Master Bedroom only needed a few cosmetic touches. The old paint and curtains were drab and made the room feel cold. To remedy this I selected a more peaceful calming color and on trend curtains. Next I reoriented the furniture layout. The canopy bed is too tall for this space and the positioning interferes with the fan. Previously only a queen fit and there was litttle space for night stands. Now there is a king and the layout makes sense. Finally, I added gorgeous furniture, art and accessories. The bed and all its' dressing so politely invite you to climb in.
Next I procured some light fixtures, an oven and picked a warmer wall color. If I had kept the walls white the cabinets would blend in and be less of the show stopper they are now.
The warm tones in the wall pull the antique stain and speak harmoniously with the countertops and backsplash. Before the cabinets were refinished the countertops and backsplash just looked like an after-thought.

Before

After
The builder grade cabinets in this kitchen just didn't pop. Simple stripping and applying white cabinet paint with an antiqued stain give a more custom look. The kitchen gets lighter and brighter and has more personality than just plain white cabinets would.

I Installed some brass hardware to up the glamour value of the kitchen!

Before

After
Changes here consisted of paiting the walls a sophisticated taupe color, installing new light fixture, vanity, cabinetry, decorative shelf and mirror.
The added shelf and cabinetry provide much needed storage for a small bathroom. Finally this shower was made for a door so the shower curtain and rod were taken down and very handsome door installed it its' place.

Bathrooms love color and people love color in bathrooms.I went bold here! This is a shore home and without going bold this bathroom would just be boring. Look at the before picture for reference. I opted for an accent wall because painting the whole room this sea foam color would shrink the room. I brought in modern accessories and furniture and really played up the luxury and prettiness level of this bathroom.
